Carry-on luggage: what to pack (and what to skip)
· By Gaby

Every airline has its own carry-on size and weight rules, but some things never change: liquids up to 100 ml in a clear bag, electronics within reach for security checks and no sharp objects.
The essentials
- Documents and wallet
- Your regular medication
- Chargers and a universal adapter
- A change of clothes in case your bag is delayed
- Headphones and a light jacket — planes get cold
What to check in
Large perfumes, tools, liquids over 100 ml and anything you will not need during the flight. When in doubt, ask your agency: we can tell you exactly what your fare includes.
