All-inclusive: what it really covers (and the fine print)

The idea sounds simple — pay once, spend nothing more — but resorts differ widely and it pays to know before you book.

Almost always included

  • Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks
  • Local-brand alcoholic and soft drinks
  • Daytime activities and evening shows
  • Non-motorized sports

The fine print

Specialty restaurants with limited seating or surcharges, premium drinks, spa, motorized sports and excursions usually cost extra. Wi-Fi and room service vary by category.

At NEOS Terra we work with the Caribbean's main resorts and will tell you straight which one fits your budget and travel style.
